Well, how do I start .... I am 76 years old and had a paid-for house in the Sagemont area in Houston. My son and his wife lived there ..... however, after ten years, problems arose with how they were keeping the place up. I don't want to go into detail but I could see the house that I had bought by myself and had loved and cared for was being abused. So I told them I was selling and made appointments with 3 different investors. The first 2 were ok but I don't know .... we just didn't click ..... so my final appointment was with "We Buy Ugly Houses" ..... Ms. Rita Tower came to the house ... we had a very good meeting. She was down-to-earth ... honest, and real .... I felt an instant liking and trust for her. So after thinking about it ... I signed the contract. Needless to say, the relationship with my son was not good .... however, we have worked our way through it and they are now happy where they moved to. So, the ongoing actions that I needed to take regarding the sale were explained carefully and clearly to me .... most of the messages were through Beth, the Managing Director. Her instructions were always clear and concise ... she answered all my questions promptly ..... plus we developed a nice camaraderie .... She sent me the needed information when I needed it and was always kind and patient. One of the options in selling to them was that the tenants could leave anything they didn't want and they would deal with it .... not me .... I was very grateful for that. I did close successfully on the house .... there were no "snags" .... no hidden charges or surprises on closing day .... the price was fair .... I would have liked to have gotten more, but with all the money that had to be invested in that house to bring it up to speed .... the price received was totally appropriate and fair. So I feel very comfortable referring them .... they did a great job for me and I will be always grateful. Thank you, "We Buy Ugly Houses!"

Rita and Beth were both very professional and easy to work with. Beth carefully explained everything to my daughter, so my daughter set us up a meeting with Rita. Rita was very professional and respectful while she walked through the townhouse. The townhouse belonged to a loved one that wasn't able to live in it any more. We were offered a reasonable "as is" offer and we were all happy with. Closed in 2 weeks and our troubles were behind us. Our overall experience was wonderful.
