If I could give negative stats I would. We bought a house about 6 years ago that was “renovated” by MBH. The home is 775 sq ft. Two bedroom One bath. First issue, the vinyl flooring peels up within a year of owning the home. Second, whoever put in the kitchen cabinets decided to glue them into the wall and not bother nailing in at the studs for support. The cabinets started falling off the wall a few months ago so we had to move everything out, fix them and actually nail them in the studs. Third, we were told foundation work was done in the home prior to us buying it. None was evidently done. On top of that, they replaced all the door frames/ doors before we moved in. So once we had the foundation repaired literally every frame is crooked. No doors latch anymore. Fourth, whoever “renovated” our bathroom didn’t even bother filling under the bathroom floor with concrete. They placed an inch thick sheet of concrete instead under the vinyl. This caved in, and we had to fill and reflow the bathroom. There was literally a whole about 1 foot by 1 foot and 3 ft deep we had to cover while saving for material costs to fix this so animals didn’t get caught inside. Not to mention a person getting their foot caught. Fifth, I saw before moving in so shame on me for hoping the rest was okay. They chose cheap material to use on “new” cabinets and wrapped them in a white vinyl that also peels up quickly. Same with the bathroom cabinets that already had some rot in the back from the previous person renovating not attached a damn pipe correctly. Sixth, we overlooked when purchasing the home not knowing of the other issues as well. The driveway is God awful. The concrete is bumpier than a backroad and will cost thousands to have removed and redone properly. Seventh, the gate leading to the backyard we found out is not even posted at the base in concrete. So the weight of the wood/ metal frame swing gate is slowly leaning towards the ground. During some seasons we cannot even open the gate. So thank you. Thank you for showing me what true home ownership is like. While I continue to have to fix problems caused by your lack of integrity in handwork, I honestly pray for your future customers safety. You will be looking at a ln expensive law suit in the future if someone is seriously harmed from your carelessness.
